Entry Requirements:

  1. Minimum Qualifications: A minimum of 2 A' levels in commercials or a relevant Certificate or Diploma, or more than 5 years of work experience in Accounting/Taxation.
  2. Alternative Entry: If you don't meet the above requirements, you can also enroll through the mature entry route, which requires 5 years of working experience and being at least 30 years old.
  3. English Language Proficiency: Fluency in spoken and written English is required, with evidence provided if English is a second language.

  2. Annual subscription fees - USD$120.00 (payable bi-annually - January to June $60.00, July to December $60.00)
  3. Online Study Modules (compulsory) - $30.00 per module

Entry Requirements

To pursue the Post-Graduate Diploma in Applied Taxation offered by the Institute of Chartered Tax Accountants of Zimbabwe (ICTAZ), candidates typically require:

  1. Tax Technician Diploma: Completion of the ICTAZ Tax Technician Diploma automatically guarantees progression to the ICTAZ Post-Graduate Diploma in Applied Taxation
  2. Alternative Entry Route: A relevant commercial Undergraduate Degree, HND, LLB, or any other equivalent qualifications. With Part A and Part B exemptions awarded on a subject by subject basis - provide your transcript for exemptions assessment.
  3. English Language Proficiency: Fluency in spoken and written English is required, with evidence provided if English is a second language.

To qualify for registration as a student member for the CTA Professional Conversion Programme (PCP), candidates must meet one of the following criteria:

  • Be a member of ICAZ, ACCA, CIMA, CIS, ICPAZ, SAAA, or IAC
  • Hold a Master's Degree in Taxation or Accounting
  • Be a current or former ZIMRA employee with over 10 years of work experience

Fees Structure

The total course fees are structured to ease financial commitment, allowing payments in three installments:

  1. Registration Fees: USD $60.00 (one-time payment)
  2. Course Fees: USD $650.00, payable in full or over three installments:
    • 1st Installment: USD $250.00
    • 2nd Installment: USD $200.00
    • 3rd Installment: USD $200.00

This intervention responds directly to the statutory cessation deadline of 30 June 2026 applicable to existing customs clearing practitioners. The programme is therefore structured as a transitional professionalisation mechanism to prevent business disruption, protect livelihoods, and ensure continuity of tax-related advisory and compliance services in Zimbabwe.

No exemptions will be granted under this professionalisation route.

    • Aged 25+ at application ( for Mature Entry)

  • ICTAZ Membership Fee : $250 (annual, upon completion)

NB: US$30.00 Once off registration fees also required on registration together with the US$120.00 Annual Membership fees.

Associate membership is for practising tax professionals who meet ICTAZ associate entry requirements. Secretariat may request additional documents after review.
